A professional should know his job. If UC has appointed him as a refrigerator technician then he should be able to tackle any issue pertaining to his job profile. Running away from your job or giving up easily on a job is a trademark of an unprofessional person. By the way my fridge issue was easily tackled and resolved today on 31st Dec by a professional from some other agency. It took him 3hrs but he resolved the issue and my refrigerator is now working perfectly well with 100% capacity. By the way FYI the issue of low cooling was because of clogged filter in the refrigerant gas line connected to the bottom coil of the top refrigerator section. Due to clogged filter only partial gas was reaching this section causing low cooling (only 60% cooling). The other agency professional renewed the line filter, charged gas as gas needs to be removed from the system to renew the filter and purged out air from the system. Now the refrigerator is working perfectly fine with 100% cooling. Disappointed that 3 UC professionals visited 7 times (4 visit by 1st UC professional, 2 visits by 2nd UC professional and 1 last vist by the senior expert UC professional yesterday on 30th Dec) to my house in last 4 month's (since mid Aug to 30th Dec) for this issue's but none of them could do a proper/correct troubleshooting and resolve the issue professionally. Instead they (1st UC professional charged me Rs.2800 for blind gas charge without knowing the root cause of the problem causing overloading the compressor causing abnormal heating of compressor and the 2nd UC professional unnecessarily renewed the defrost sensor charging me further Rs.4800 for it even though the issue was not because of the defrost sensor as within 5days of renewing the defrost sensor the cooling was still low. Total UC professionals charged me Rs.7600 in last 4 and half months without solving the problem). The Best part was this 3rd UC professional who attended my fridge issue on 30th Dec who UC said was an expert in his job. He refused to do the job as he was not sure what the exact problem was and he also couldn't do the correct troubleshooting. He left without doing anything and suggested me to not call UC professionals as they won't be able to resolve this issue. Instead he suggested to contact some other agency which I finally did on 30th Dec. The other agency professional attended on 31st Dec, correctly pinpointed the root cause of the issue (clogged filter in the refrigerant line), rectified the fault and now my fridge is working on 100% capacity with full cooling. It took him only 3 hrs to carry out the troubleshooting and complete the job in which he took 1hr to go to the market and buy the new original filter. A professional from other agency resolves the issue in 3hrs which the UC professionals couldn't do in last 4.5 month's. Very Disappointed. We had to survive with a faulty refrigerator for 4.5 month's due to the unprofessionalism of UC technicians. Glad UC initiated my refund of Rs.7265 due to their inability to resolve my fridge issue for 4.5 month's, causing inconvenience to me and my family for so many month's. UC needs to update and upgrade their training program for Refrigerator servicing. ALL THE BEST.
