Today as we stand 9 years down the road, present in 4 countries and 63 cities, we look back on the remarkable journey that we have been on. Urban Company has created opportunities for more than 55,000 Service Partners to be part of a formal economy, and has introduced convenience to the lives of more than 10+ million customers globally.
We owe our growth in the last 9 years to our biggest supporters, our customers who have paved our way for bigger and better things!

One of the recurring challenges that most gig workers face is the
lack of respect and dignity in society
. Through our Partner Enablement initiatives, one of our goals has been to bring respect to our Partners who deliver Services to our customers.
Empowering India’s electricians, plumbers, cleaners, parlour didis
We have successfully organized an otherwise unorganized service market, enabling professionalism across a range of services, through
training programs, NSDC certifications
and stock option grants to top-performing service partners in traditionally ‘blue-collar’ roles.
Our efforts are targeted towards bringing about a change in the lives of the gig workforce, steering them towards a life of respect. We envision a future of empowering and uplifting our Service Partners and their families towards socio-economic betterment and brighter future.
